Airowear is a designer and specialist manufacturer of equestrian safety equipment; body protection since 1983, Airowear has been successfully supplying the equestrian market worldwide. In all these years Airowear's philosophy has never changed, 'Total Commitment to Rider Safety.'

Used by Pony Club tots to top Event Riders, Airowear has become a household name in Equestrian Protection.

Airowear is widely recognised for its expertise and experience in this field, with protection, freedom of movement, comfort and appearance always at the forefront of our designs. Extensive testing and feedback enable the company to develop and create ever-improving garments which are often used as the benchmark for competitors.

The Airowear Body Protector Range

Airowear is a market leaders in the manufacture and supply of equestrian body protectors, providing only the very finest products.

In 1991 Airowear was the first company to manufacture body protectors conforming to the new British Equestrian Trade Standard (BETA). In 1995 the hugely successful 'Reiver' tabard styled protector was launched. Followed in Autumn 1998 by the 'Zippa' range, with the 'Zippa Plus' hitting the press as a 'Breakthrough in Body Protection' as the first complete protective jacket, offering integral shoulder protection.

Finally (for the moment!) in May 2000, Airowear was first (and second!) to conform to the new European standard (EN13158:2000) for Body Protectors and BETA 2000, with its new Reiver and Zippa 2000 models.
